Deck the Small Cozy Home

JollyDaze 4 u & me meme

As in many houses, especially with children, our home is decorated with years of various objects and styles at Christmas. We add things that catch our eye or have been given to us.

We have a ceramic nativity set
that I painted early in our marriage.

I have a tiny village that I've just collected recently.

I have some Hawaiian straw wreaths,
given to me by a classmate.

I have a paper star, that my father taught me how to make. When we lived in the Bahamas, we made most of our decorations from a paper. Last year, he made sure I didn't forget how to do it.

I love this personalized snowman family!

The branches of our Christmas tree are laden with a mixture of homemade treasures and various objects that reflect our different personalities.

I leave a few Christmas knick-knacks around
on a shelves or windowsills
to give me a smile throughout the winter.
Do you?

I love your decorations. And that star--wow! I'd like to know how to make one.

Thanks, girls!

I've never written an article about making something, step by step, with pictures. I could try.
