Word Filled Wednesday

Today, my almost 2 yr. old grandson and I sat beneath a yellow maple tree and waited for the mailman. He laughed with joy at the sight of the leaves fluttering in the breeze. I told him that the leaves were clapping their hands and praising God. He understood clapping. We clapped and sang, "Praise Him, praise Him, all ye little children, God is love..."

Each time they fluttered again. He clapped and wanted me to sing. I'm sure the Lord was touched by this simple and tender sight.

"Night is Coming"

Yesterday, I spent time with Ross Hodsdon, language consultant for Bibles International. He has a sense of urgency to do the work of the Lord. Doors into countries are closing, signs of Christ's return are being seen in the world, his body is slowing down. He feels time is running out. Even though he loves being with his children and grandchildren, he would rather be about the Lord's business.

Do we feel it?

Do we want to share God's Word with others?

There will be a time when it is too late.

All the born-again believers will be taken away,
along with God's Spirit.

Do you feel the urgency to work for Him?

John 9:4,5

Jesus said, "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world."

Word Filled Wednesday

I've decided to join in the WFW, hosted this week by Susan at Forever His .
I love this picture, for it reminds me
God knows our stuggles and hidden victories.

Zephaniah 3:17
"The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing."

He delights in us. He loves us and is pleased with us when we obey Him and trust Him. We sometimes feel like we're failures, even when we do our best. Like a father, he wraps His arms around us and says He is proud of us. That's all that matters!
