"Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt-offerings
as in obeying the voice of the Lord?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
and to hearken better than the fat of rams."
(I Samuel 15:22)
Do I think God will overlook sin because of my service for Him?
Am I making excuses for my lack of complete obedience?
Lord, may I listen for Your voice
and obey you swiftly and completely.
