Love the Sinner, Hate the Sin

Our society teaches tolerance, but tolerance of sin is not right. God loves the sinner, but hates sin. We should feel the same way. How do react to our neighbors and friends who live in a sinful lifestyle? We teach our children that those ways are not godly. We pray for those around us. We act politely and neighborly, showing Christ's love when the opportunities arise.

"All have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
(Romans 3:23)

"Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners."
(I Timothy 1:15)

This topic is so confusing for Christians, Vonnie. Praying it doesn't divide us but draw us together as we pray and ask God and study His Word, not get sucked into what the world has to say.
