Contented as a Cow

Summer days are winding down. It seems to go by so fast, especially in Maine where you sometimes get frosts at the end of August. Farmers are harvesting hay and corn. Kids are trying to squeeze out all the fun they can before heading back to school. Everyone is soaking the warmth of the sun and grumbling if it rains.

Yes, it seems we grumble over everything.
It's too hot.
It's too cold.
It's too wet.
It's too dry.

I Timothy 6:8
"And having food and raiment
let us be therewith content."

Let's be like the cows
and just enjoy what God gives us each day.

I'm so thankful for this weekend for relaxing. :)

I've never seen a happy cow :) What really is the difference between contentment and apathy?

Hmmm...
I think a cow can be happy.

My Definitions:
Contentment - enjoying whatever is in front of you
Apathy - not caring, not enjoying anything

Sooo hard to just relax and enjoy when there is so much going on in life...but there is such a peace when we do!!
Big Hugs!!
