No, it's not that warm in Maine yet!
I got tired of my winter and changed the picture on my laptop. The ladyslippers won't be blooming for a couple more months, but I'm looking forward to tromping through the woods and searching out their delicate beauty, hidden in the shadows of the ferns. It brings back happy memories of taking walks with Grammy (my mother-in-law). She knew every plant in the woods and when they would bloom. I learned so much from her, but not nearly as much as I wanted to before she left us. I hope to teach my grandchildren to love the woods, too.
PS...ugh! I need to change the look of my blog soon, too!
