No Other Way

I invite you to join me in learning John 14. Each week I plan to learn a new verse. I will "recite" what I have learned before and give a short study of the next verse. You may email your "recitation" to me or put it as a comment below the post. I am using the KJV. If you use another, please let me know.

John 14:1-5

1. Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2.In my Father's house are many mansions, if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also.
4. Wither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5. Thomas saith unto him, 'We know not whither thou goest and how can we know the way?'

NEW VERSE
John 14:6
"Jesus saith unto him,'I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.'"

"One way, God said, to get to heaven,
Jesus is the only way.
One way to reach those pearly mansions,
Jesus is the only way.
No other way, no other way,
No other way, to go---
One way, God said, to get to heaven;
Jesus is the only way."


Jesus said, "I am the way."

There are not many roads to heaven. There are not many ways to reach God. Only those that recognize that Jesus is God and accept His gift of forgiveness and eternal life.

Jesus said, "I am the truth."

From the beginning of time, man has tried to explain his existance and life around him. Only those that include Jesus and His teachings are truth. No matter how smart a man may be, he is a fool if he thinks he knows more than God.

Jesus said, "I am the life."

Eternity with God - can you fathom it? Not only has God promised to take us to heaven to live with Him forever, he has given us a life of joy and peace and victory here on earth.

There is no other way. It's not a biased opinion created by man. It's the words of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He created us; He has provided the way for salvation. Why should we doubt it? Why should we compromise? Why should we join with others who do not accept this teaching of the Lord? There is only one way to God.

"I am the way, the truth, and the life,
That's what Jesus said.
