I'm still busy snuggling my new grandbaby.
Here are more pictures for you to enjoy.
This is Lydia and her husband, Don...they are going to make great parents!
Don is a great daddy already!
Lydia, my daughter, kept the name of her baby a secret until she was born.
Of course, everyone on facebook heard her name right away, but Evelyn Bryant, the woman for whom Little Evelyn was named, doesn't have a computer and hadn't heard yet. I took her to visit Lydia at the hospital today and had my camera ready for her reaction. Evelyn is the "Grammy" at church, so faithful to every service and praying for each one of us. She is very hard of hearing, so she needed to be told a few times.
"What did you say her name was?"
"Now why would you go and give
this cute little baby a name like that?"
"You are the most beautiful thing...
and you've got a beautiful name."
Newborns are so soft and smell so sweet.
Don't you just adore baby yawns?
