... to MY BACK DOOR MINISTRY.
Come in! Would you like a cup of coffee? maybe a glass of iced tea? How are you doing this week? How are the kids? Would you like to hear something great that God just did for me?
He gave me a new friend. I love it when God brings new people into my life. They always add a different spice, to make my world a little bit more interesting, to teach me about another culture, or even to make me appreciate my own life more. God may use this new friend to show me an area in my life that needs some work. Maybe He wants me to encourage her or pray with her. There's always some reason that He directs our paths to cross the paths of others.
I love chatting with my friends at my kitchen table, working on a jigsaw puzzle or playing Scrabble. (only we talk and laugh more than play) This new friend has a cute Southern accent. I could sit and listen to accents or other languages all day. Some people say I have an accent, but I don't hear it. (smile) I can't wait to meet more friends through this blog.
This is what I've got planned for each week:
Sundays - "Gone to Church" (no new posts)
Mondays - My thoughts (observations and personal insights)
Tuesdays - Memories (tidbits from my life)
Wednesdays - Bible Studies (starting with Bible characters)
Thursdays - Parenting Tips (things I learned along the way)
Fridays - Fiction (my writing, plus a link to other stories)
Saturdays - Kids'Day (fun things for kids to do)
I hope you will come back....to visit, to laugh, to pray.

Do you have a swing on the porch? I love to swing and contemplate...maybe we could share stories or just encourage each other. I brought some herbs for that tea...um.......... it's right nice here!! Thanks, Yvonne!

Vonnie, This is beautiful!!! Thanks for inviting me! I love the way you have the days separated out for different writings. That is very organized, AND it shows off your many areas of wisdom and talent. Love it!
Yay! I'm so happy you've got it going. I've already added it to my favorites!

Vonnie, this is a delightful spot to visit. I'll be back often. Your talent and warmth and wisdom are so welcoming.
Hi Mama, "My Back Door" looks great! Its funny to see people call you Vonnie; no one has ever called you that! I'm sure I'll visit this door more often than your actually back door! :) I love you, Lydia
