For those of you that more snow than you know what to do with it...

SNOW ICE CREAM

1. Fill a large bowl(4-6 qt) of fluffy, clean snow.
(Gather away from high "traffic" areas.)
2. Drizzle with evaporated milk (approx. 1/2 cup)
3. Sprinkle with sugar (1/4 cup) or pancake syrup
4. Add some vanilla (2-3 tsp.)
5. (optional...food coloring, except yellow, of course!)
6. Eat slowly...to avoid headache

Serves 5-8 children.
(May also be made by single servings.)

If your child is a little older and wants to really cook,
take the time to do it with them. Find a simple, tasty recipe or let them make up their own creation. Enjoy the time together. Have fun playing in the kitchen.
