Gravy in My Head

Yesterday, I was remembering some old records we played at Toddy Pond. This one has been running through my head ever since - (I found some different words online, but I think this is the way I learned it.)

"On Monday we had bread and gravy

On Tuesday was gravy bread,

On Wednesday and Thursday was gravy and toast,

But that's nothing but gravy and bread (so it is!)

On Friday was rye bread and gravy,

On Saturday, whole wheat instead.

But Sunday's a treat, 'cause we never get meat!

We have gravy without any bread."
