500th Post Give-Away!



I will be celebrating my 500th post on December 22th. For this joyous occasion, I will be giving away a music CD, "Micah Blake", produced by my son.

    It is actually two, but they go together: Cornbread dressing and cranberry salad.

    Mashed potatoes and gravy! It's always my favorite :), but on Christmas I can top them with a dollop of cranberries. (the real kind only) mmmm.

    My favorite Christmas food? Something I can't very much of: frosted cutout sugar cookies! I have an old recipe that is made with little flour, but lots of butter and confectioner's sugar...so yummy and melt-in-your-mouth good.

    I like to make Stollen Bread for Christmas Eve. We enjoy it with hot apple cider.
